Bilingual Intake Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Bilingual Intake Specialist for our nonprofit client located in the South LA area. This position will be 100% onsite and a full-time, contract to hire opportunity. Interested candidates must be bilingual Spanish/English and must feel comfortable working directly with the homeless demographic. 

This position will be focused on assisting our client's guests with the intake process, including registering for supportive services, updating demographics and personal information, and ensuring guests are properly registered in order to receive assistance. This will be a high-volume position and will be working closely with guests in order to ensure they are receiving the supportive services they need upon intake. Administrative duties might also include phone/email correspondence and scanning/filing/uploading documents. 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree desired (not required)

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required 

  • Minimum 1 year administrative/intake experience within a healthcare and/or behavioral health setting 

  • Must be proficient working within multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office 

Skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communciation skills, both in-person and over the phone

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different tasks throughout the day as needed 

  • Can work well under pressure and make sound judgment calls when needed 

  • Proficient working within Microsoft Office 

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
