Payroll Specialist

The selected candidate will oversee the bi-weekly payroll cycle for over 300 employees using Paycom and FileMaker software. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities from data entry and verification to problem resolution associated with payroll processing.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the bi-weekly payroll cycle for a large team using specialized software systems.
• Gather timesheet data and payroll information for processing.
• Enter and manage data in payroll and administrative databases and software programs.
• Implement payroll policies and procedures to effectively resolve any arising issues.
• Carry out reconciliation of payroll reports on a regular basis.
• Address and resolve queries related to payroll and remittances in a timely manner.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce for efficient payroll processing.
• Oversee 401k - RRSP Administration and ensure accuracy in all accounting functions.
• Perform auditing tasks related to payroll processing and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage benefit functions as per company policies and procedures.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of Ceridian
• Ability to use Dayforce
• Understanding of 401k - RRSP Administration
• Capability to utilize About Time
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
