Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated installer to join our team on the 2nd shift. The primary responsibility involves installing cabinets, racks, and drawers into the back of vacant work vans. This role requires working in the 'jig' department and using air tools to perform installations according to customer specifications. The position demands physical activity, including bending, twisting, and repetitive movements to get in and out of vans as they move down the assembly line. The job involves being on your knees and bending for the majority of the time.

Responsibilities
  • Install cabinets, shelves, and drawers into work vans using air tools.
  • Work in the 'jig' department to complete installations to customer specifications.
  • Perform repetitive movements, including bending, twisting, and getting in and out of vans.
  • Ensure all installations are securely fitted and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and efficiency.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in assembly and using hand tools.
  • Mechanical skills and ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
  • Experience in a physically demanding field and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in construction or a similar field is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 2nd shift from 4 PM to 12 AM, Monday to Friday, with a requirement to be at the station ready to work by 3:45 PM. The role involves working inside the backs of vans, requiring comfort with bending, squatting, and using hand tools. The work is repetitive, and employees will be moving in and out of vans to install custom cabinetry. The warehouse is climate-controlled, though the physical nature of the job will cause sweating. The dress code includes t-shirts, jeans, work pants, and steel-toe or composite shoes.
