Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Runaway Bay, TX

Attention all Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding full-time position in Runaway Bay, TX

Soliant has partnered with a prominent school district in Runaway Bay and is actively seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join their team for the full school year.

Location: Runaway Bay, TX

Position: Full-Time

Start Date: August 14, 2024

End Date: May 22, 2025

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Participate in ARD (Admissions, Referral, and Dismissal) meetings to determine student eligibility.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders.
  • Texas Speech-Language Pathology License.
