About the Role

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Early Intervention Services team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping children with disabilities or delays develop essential skills, including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify children's strengths and needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) in collaboration with families and team members.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and coaching to support children's development and family engagement.
  • Monitor progress and outcomes, making adjustments to IFSPs as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state of Connecticut.
  • One year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly encouraged.
