Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate disorders in speech, language, voice, and fluency; develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy services, track progress, and adjust treatment plans as required.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support communication goals for students.
- Conduct evaluations, maintain detailed records, and engage in team meetings to ensure comprehensive planning.
- Advocate for students, offer staff training, and continue professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
- Connecticut Teaching Certificationoptional
- ConnecticutSLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
