Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team at Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. in our Women's Health Department. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather information for assessments and care planning
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor vital signs and medical history
  • Assist with physical exams and medical procedures as needed
  • Provide education to patients and families on healthcare topics
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care
  • Collaborate with other departments as required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current LPN license in Connecticut
  • Previous experience in pediatrics is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with bilingual capabilities encouraged
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Understanding of medical terminology and nursing protocols
  • Experience with electronic medical records, preferably eClinical Works
