We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a SOX Auditor in Coppell, Texas, 75019, United States. The role focuses on performing SOX reviews within the Retail industry. As a SOX Auditor, you will be required to multitask and communicate effectively while working remotely.


Remote SOX Tester (contract position):

Responsibilities:

• Conducting SOX reviews for the Financial Operations group

• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for various tasks

• Adapting to repeatable process testing

• Comprehending the subject of testing and identifying necessary changes

• Working autonomously with efficiency and effectiveness

• Ensuring compliance with business process functions

• Applying knowledge of the Coso Framework and CobiT during auditing tasks

• Utilizing Archer and Eaton in daily operations

• Ensuring all accounting functions are performed correctly.

• Position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in the retail industry as a SOX Auditor
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for this role
• Knowledge and experience in using Archer software is a must
• Familiarity with CobiT is required
• Experience with Eaton software is considered an asset
• Must have a strong understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Solid grasp on Accounting Functions is necessary
• Proven experience in Auditing is needed
• Must be well-versed in Business Process Functions
• Strong knowledge in Compliance is required
• Understanding and experience with the Coso Framework is necessary
