Work Environment

Work in a 154,000 square feet, temperature-controlled facility with over 550 employees on-site. The facility includes 7 SMT lines. There are 6 openings on 1st shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, and 1 opening on 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm - 1:00am.

This is a contract to hire position out of Newark, NY.

Job Description

Production Associates are responsible for performing a variety of tasks and processes to complete electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies. This includes but is not limited to soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, final assembly, PCB, machine crimping, and ribbon cable assembly. Production Associates must be able to follow established methods and procedures to ensure these tasks are completed as directed by manufacturing schedules with limited supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Hand soldering of wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.
  • Assemble electromechanical assemblies as required.
  • Review and complete required production documentation.
  • Read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions.
  • Comprehend written and verbal assignments.
