Aerotek Is Hiring Entry-Level Production Workers In Newark, NY
Location: Newark, NY
Pay Range: $17 - $18 per hour
Job Description:
As an Production Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks to assemble electronic components, including soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, and more. You'll work with minimal supervision to meet production schedules efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hand Soldering: Solder wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.
- Electromechanical Assembly: Assemble components and sub-assemblies.
- Assembly Instructions: Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
- Documentation: Complete production documentation accurately.
- Machine Operation: Operate machinery and hand tools.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect work for quality and report issues.
- Collaboration: Work with team members to meet production targets.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficient in hand soldering and assembly processes.
- Experience: Familiar with general assembly and hand tools.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and blueprints precisely.
- Communication Skills: Understand written and verbal instructions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Entry-level; prior experience in electronics or production is a plus. Training provided.

Shift Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 2:30 pm - 1:00 am
