Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Location:Hobbs, NM

Job Type:Contract

Job Description: As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with Soliant, you will work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential therapy services to students with munication disorders. Your responsibilities will include assisting in assessments, implementing therapy interventions, facilitating group sessions, and documenting progress under the supervision of a licensed SLP. You will play a crucial role in helping students improve their munication skills and succeed academically.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of speech and language development in children
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
