Location: Brookfield, WI
Soliant Education - 24/25 School Year Contract Position

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in Brookfield, WI, for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with students with diverse learning needs and be mitted to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with students across K-12 grade levels in a supportive and collaborative educational setting. This is a contract position through Soliant Education with petitive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, and weekly pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to create inclusive classroom environments.
  • Provide direct instruction to students in a variety of settings (one-on-one, small group, whole class).
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
  • Work with parents and caregivers to ensure continuity between home and school settings.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation.
  • Support students in building academic, social, and emotional skills.
  • Attend meetings with staff, administrators, and parents to discuss student needs and progress.

Requirements:

  • Valid K-12 Special Education or Cross-Categorical Special Education certification.
  • Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities, including learning, emotional, and physical disabilities.
  • Strong munication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
  • Passion for working with students in an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and meet district requirements.
