Job SummaryThe Occupational Medicine Specialist provides clinical care services, including health assessments, examinations, and treatments, following standing orders and performing clinic lab testing as appropriate. This role also involves routine occupational health screenings, case management, and collaboration with supervising providers to support employee health and wellness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine surveillance screenings/tests, including substance abuse testing, respirator fit tests, spirometry, audiograms, vision screening, phlebotomy, and EKGs.
  • Provide case management for disability and work-related cases.
  • Collaborate with supervising providers and execute designated tasks to support clinic operations.
  • Deliver preventative health and wellness guidance and Employee Assistance Program support.
  • Support after-hours clinic operations as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Perform administrative and clinical tasks with a focus on employee health and safety.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification.
  • Previous experience in occupational health or related clinical settings.

Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
