Robert Half is offering a contract employment opportunity for a remote Litigation Associate Attorney (located in Utah or Colorado) for one of our clients. The individual will be part of a team that focuses on civil litigation, specifically working with Microsoft Word and handling motions.


Responsibilities:


• Handle and process civil litigation cases with accuracy and efficiency

• Utilize Microsoft Word to prepare, review, and revise legal documents and correspondences

• Draft, file, and argue motions in court as part of the litigation process

• Collaborate with the legal team to strategize and develop case theories

• Conduct thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation

• Maintain and update client records to ensure accuracy

• Monitor and manage client cases, ensuring all necessary actions are taken promptly

• Handle client inquiries, providing accurate and timely information

• Evaluate and manage potential risks and opportunities in litigation cases

• Uphold the standards of the legal profession through ethical conduct and professionalism.

Requirements:


• Must hold a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school

• Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing

• Must be located in CO or UT

• Demonstrable experience in Civil Litigation

• Proficiency in drafting and arguing motions

• Strong research and report-writing skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• High level of professional ethics and integrity

• Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
