Paint Prep Ops

Length: 6 month contract to hire

Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm M-F

Location: Aurora, CO 80019

An Industrial Engineering company specializing in custom industrial mechanical systems is looking for a Paint Prep Operations Helper to join their first shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) team in Aurora, CO.

The Prep Operations Specialist:

  • Prepares and masks parts for paint and powder coating, hangs parts on racks, inspects products, maintains equipment and tools, and loads and unloads parts using a forklift (if applicable)
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds of materials safely and efficiently.
  • Pass a background check and drug test (marijuana included).

The Company is well established in its industry and offers room for advancement. This is a 6 month contract to hire position, and will turn into a permanent position in the next 6 months.

Must Have:

- Reliable and Organized

- Interested in a career in industrial painting

- Experience with Paint prep ops or a similar skillset in an industrial setting

Plusses:

- Experience with painting or powder coating in a production environment

 

***Compensation is dependent on skillset and experience in the field.
