Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Berkeley, California area

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current valid license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals, needs, and abilities
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment to promote independence
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
