Location:Richland, WA 99352
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Various (Weekends Required Every Other Week)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced NICU Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Richland, WA. This position requires 2 years of NICU experience and the ability to float between units as needed. Weekends are required every other week per the CBA, with no on-call required. The role will involve working in the NICU with various patient acuities, in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory therapy to neonates and infants in the NICU
  • Administer therapies including ventilator management, CPAP/BiPAP, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions
  • Float between units as needed (primarily NICU, but may include other units)
  • Work closely with the neonatal care team to manage respiratory status for premature and critically ill infants
  • Weekends required every other week (based on the CBA)
  • No on-call requirement
  • Follow the RT matrix for patient ratios and staffing guidelines
  • Block schedules may be available, but not guaranteed

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of NICU RRT experience required
  • BLS, RRT, and other respiratory therapy certifications required
  • No on-call required
  • Ability to float between units
  • Weekends required every other week as part of the contract
  • Must have strong NICU experience and be fortable working with neonates
  • 48-hour work weeks are not approved
