Location: Hybrid - Owings Mills, MD (On-site for training, then 3 days per week in office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Employment Type: Contract (3 months, with potential for extension)

Start Date: January 13, 2025

Required Qualifications

  • Education: College degree preferred, but candidates with some college and 5+ years of relevant experience will be considered.

  • Experience:

    • 1-2 years of experience ordering background checks (Truescreen experience a plus).

    • 1-2 years of experience with ticketing systems such as Beeline or SailPoint.

    • 1-2 years in a security or HR-related role preferred.

    • Strong customer service background.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

    • Dependability and ability to work independently.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-managed Junior Business Analyst to join our Corporate Security team. This role is critical in supporting background screening processes, managing ticketing systems, and running reports to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform security background checks with tools like Truescreen.

  • Manage and resolve tickets using Beeline and SailPoint systems.

  • Run reports and manage data using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolution support.

  • Collaborate with the team to improve workflows and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Support day-to-day operations with attention to detail and efficiency.

Additional Details

  • Team Structure:

    • Reporting to the Corporate Security Background Screening Department.

    • Team size: 5-10 members.

  • Work Environment:

    • Hybrid schedule with the first three weeks fully on-site for training.

    • Local candidates only.

Interview Process

  • Initial interview via Microsoft Teams.

  • Conducted by the hiring manager and potentially one additional interviewer.

  • Interviews will begin ASAP.



Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
