Adecco Staffing is assisting a well-known Medical Device Manufacturing facility in Chelmsford MA with their needs for Manufacturing Support Specialist on 1st shift This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Hours - 1st shift 5:00am-1:30pm
Pay - 1st shift 27-30 DOE

POSITION SUMMARY: This position provides support to the Pumps Manufacturing Manager by performing advanced troubleshooting activity on the IABP manufacturing floor while conforming to all FDA, GMP and Arrow SOP requirements. Responsibility as the lead technical expert for the IABP manufacturing area for all troubleshooting, non-conformance (NC) processing, and complaint evaluations. Performs all preventative maintenance activity for the IABP manufacturing area. Perform assembly steps where required to hit deliverable devices, including production product.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Perform detailed troubleshooting on the manufacturing floor for IABP's that failed during the manufacturing process which cannot be resolved by production technicians.

  • Perform rework on IABP's per rework instructions as required.

  • Perform preventative maintenance per PM schedule on test equipment used on the manufacturing floor.

  • Repair and rework electronic and electromechanical products and sub-assemblies for re-issue.

  • Perform training on work instructions to build miscellaneous sub-assemblies.

  • Perform root cause analysis on non-conformance (NC) parts,

  • Perform other duties as requested by manufacturing, engineering and quality assurance as required.

  • Crosstrain on additional Build processes.

  • Assist R&D and Manufacturing Engineering as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


SPECIALIZED SKIL & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be capable of using a wide variety of test equipment, both mechanical and electrical.

  • Strong work ethic and attitude of accountability to mission and product quality a must.

  • Must be able and willing to change priorities. Strong organizational skills required.

  • Ability to lift 100 lbs.

  • Must be able to pay attention to detail including documentation and work orders.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with assemblers and test technicians while presenting themselves in a professional manner.

  • Trade School/Military or Certificate in Electronics Technology.

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the servicing and repair of electronic and electromechanical devices; medical device and biomedical experience preferred.

Pay Details: 27.00 to 30.00 per hour
