Job Description

The function of the Maintenance Technician is to oversee and perform complex maintenance and repair tasks for machinery, equipment, and facilities. This role involves diagnosing issues, conducting preventative maintenance, managing maintenance projects, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This position is available on a flex 1st/2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in machinery and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation of CNC machines, manual machines, and other equipment.
• Manage and execute maintenance projects to improve efficiency and safety.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and other work-related documents.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance tasks.
• Utilize precision measuring tools and basic hand tools for maintenance and repair tasks.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of CNC machines and other equipment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
• High level of attention to detail and adaptability.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with robots, automation, and other cutting-edge equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of in-depth electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and basic hand tools.

Work Environment

Work in a well-lit, updated, and very clean facility that moved to its current location within the last 15 years. The candidate will frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. The environment fosters a family-like atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
