Summary: Typically works at a workbench or on a conveyer line, assembling minor products or components with routine and highly repetitive operations.
Job Description:
- Review documentation / work orders
- Set up machinery / processes in Tower, pay off and take up areas (assigned area)
- Operate machinery in assigned area
- Clean and reassemble machinery in assigned area
- Monitor controls, materials, and processes in assigned area
- Monitor quality of production
- Load / replace materials in assigned area
- Change out product and slice product for continued production
- Repair machinery and prepare components for machines in assigned area
- Coordinate other repairs with maintenance and engineering
- Operate power moving devices, change propane cylinders
- Communicate with supervisor
- Direct helpers
- Document processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Experience in the wire & cable industry a plus but not required
- HS degree required
- Read/use precision gauges and tools
- Perform shop math
- Read/follow written instructions
- Use a computer for simple tasks
Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.50 per hour
