Teacher of the Visually Impaired- Schools

ProCare Therapy is actively searching for aSchool TVI to join our team in San Bernardino, California. This is an excellent school district, with lots of support, and a wonderful and welcoming team environment.

The selected candidate will be hired on as a full time contracted employee through ProCare Therapy. A school year contract will be awarded for you to complete.

Job Description

  • This is a full-time, school-based assignment.
  • Assess students' visual needs and develop tailored educational plans.
  • Provide instruction in Braille, orientation and mobility, and adaptive technology.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to modify curriculum and provide accommodations.
  • Support parents and caregivers in facilitating their child's learning and independence.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Further details will be revealed during a virtual interview.

Job Requirements

  • TVI Certification
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education of the Blind/Visually Impaired.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
