Sparks Group has partnered with a pension fund organization seeking a dynamic HEALTHCARE/MEDICAL Customer Service Representative. Our ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to applicants, recipients, and their representatives. This role involves handling a variety of inquiries, processing requests, and ensuring smooth communication between the organization and its clients. This role is contract to hire and is hybrid eligible after 6 months Please apply and call 301 926 7800
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate and timely information to clients regarding programs, policies, and procedures.
- Resolve client inquiries and issues efficiently and empathetically.
- Document all interactions in the appropriate systems.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, including returned mail and change of address requests.
- Prepare and distribute necessary documents.
- Utilize the Expert System to calculate estimates and provide accurate information.
- Perform data entry and maintenance in relevant systems.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- MUST be able to type 40 words per minute
- MUST have healthcare/medical call center background
- 1 year of previous call center experience
- Bilingual Spanish/English STRONGLY preferred
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Range: Hourly $20.00 to $22.00
