Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a middle school campus in Romulus, Michigan. The ideal candidate will provide diabetic care and manage adrenal insufficiency for students, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day. This is a full-time position with consistent hours, offering a great opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct diabetic care, including monitoring blood sugar levels, administering insulin, and managing students' diabetes care plans.
  • Administer care for students with adrenal insufficiency, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
  • Monitor students' health conditions and respond to any medical emergencies or needs throughout the school day.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate health records, documenting all care provided and any changes in student conditions.
  • Educate students, staff, and families on proper health care procedures when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in the state of Michigan.
  • Experience in diabetic care and adrenal insufficiency management is preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple health cases.
  • CPR and First Aid certified.
