Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Furnace Operator for our 2nd Shift in the Cincinnati, OH (Price Hill Area). The company will be relocating to Fairfield, though the timeline for this move is not yet determined. This position requires working from 1:00pm to 9:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime required.

Responsibilities
  • Control and monitor large furnace operations.
  • Fill out and read work orders accurately.
  • Load and unload the furnace as well as bins, fixtures, and baskets.
  • Report any unusual problems to the manager promptly.
  • Operate a forklift as needed.
Essential Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a hot environment (facility is not temperature controlled)
  • Possession of steel toe boots
  • Willingness to work in Fairfield in the future
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Furnace operating experience (at least 6 months)
  • Forklift experience
  • Machine operating experience
  • Experience with job packs

Work Environment

This role is based in a non-temperature-controlled facility, requiring the ability to work in hot conditions. The position is located in Cincinnati, OH, with a future move to Fairfield. The shift operates from 1:00pm to 9:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as necessary. Steel toe boots are required for this position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00
