Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) eager to make a difference in the lives of students? ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated SLPA to join our team in beautiful North Hero, VT for the 24-25 school year.

At ProCare Therapy, we believe in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where both students and professionals can thrive. As an SLPA, you will work closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve their full potential. Your role will be instrumental in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and supporting students' academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Implement therapy plans and activities designed by the Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Track and document students' progress, providing regular updates to the SLP and educational team.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
  • Valid state license or certification as an SLPA in Vermont.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
