We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in complex and high-stakes litigation matters in the construction, business, and civil litigation sectors. The successful candidate will work directly with our attorneys in a fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive paralegal support, including managing large volumes of documents, assisting with trial preparation, and maintaining case files. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, organization, and discretion, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Details



Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Conduct extensive legal research and factual investigation.
  • Coordinate and manage discovery, including collection, review, and production of documents.
  • Prepare for and assist with trials, depositions, and hearings, including preparing exhibits, witness files, and trial binders.
  • Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other relevant parties.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications:
  • Civil litigation support experience.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
  • Strong knowledge of the rules of civil procedure, court rules, and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in electronic document management and e-filing systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
