Job DescriptionJob Description

LHH is looking for an experienced Litigation and Corporate Legal Assistant to join our growing team in Royal Oak, MI. This full-time role involves supporting up to four attorneys, managing administrative tasks, and assisting with front desk duties as needed. Competitive salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage attorney dockets, calendars, and appointments.
  • Screen client calls and correspondence, responding as necessary.
  • Draft and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and corporate documents.
  • Handle legal filings with Michigan and other state authorities.
  • Prepare legal binders and manage attorney time entry and billing.
  • Arrange travel for attorneys as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all firm and client matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (formatting, outline tools, tables of contents, etc.).
  • Strong experience with PDF manipulation software.
  • Exceptional organizational and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience with document management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Understanding of confidentiality importance.
Salary: $50,000 - $78,000
