We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Supply Chain/Purchasing Specialist


Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing and buying processes to ensure the efficient acquisition of materials.

• Generate and analyze inventory reports

• Forecast inventory needs to meet the production requirements and deadlines.

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating for the best prices and terms.

• Implement strategies for purchasing materials to optimize cost-effectiveness and quality.

• Manage supply chain logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Collaborate with other departments to understand their material requirements and ensure their needs are met.

• Regularly review and update purchasing policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders and invoices.

Full, time hours Monday-Friday

Contract to hire opportunity

Attire: Business Casual / Casual


• Applicant must have a minimum of two years of experience in a purchasing

• Ability to create and analyze Inventory Reports is required.

• Understanding of Supply Chain Logistics

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Must have experience in Vendor Management.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment is required.

• Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to ethical business practices.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the specified location.
