Great Opportunity for a growing company in Valencia

 

Account receivable specialists with strong communication and customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The role primarily involves handling different areas of accounts receivable, cash posting, credit and debit memos, and collections. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle and processes. Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and have current experience working with large ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QAD). Other requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two to three years of experience in a similar role.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise accounts receivable sub-ledger, which includes daily cash receipts, invoices, credit memos, and other adjustments.

• Maintaining accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date

• Monitoring incoming payments and ensuring they are applied correctly

• Reconciling accounts receivable ledger with the general ledger

• Resolving discrepancies between customer payments and invoices

• In collaboration with the Customer Service and Sales teams, research and reconcile older items and unidentified deductions.

• Assisting with month-end closing activities such as preparing journal entries

• Problem-solving and multitasking skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

• Ability to work independently or within a team environment

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software applications

• Excellent time management and communication skills

This role offers Medical, Dental, 401k, Vacation and Holiday pay

This is a permanent role based onsite in Valencia

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $73,000.00 per year
