Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will work with students across K-12 to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and munication disorders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse student population and will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis:Conduct prehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Therapeutic Intervention:Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language needs.
  • IEP Development:Collaborate with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to create and review IEPs for students with munication disorders.
  • Progress Monitoring:Regularly assess and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Consultation:Provide guidance and support to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' munication needs.
  • Documentation:Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Excellent organizational and munication skills.
