Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled BCBA to join a school district near Aurora, OR for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position with an immediate start, offering competitive compensation and benefits. As a BCBA, you will play a key role in assessing, developing, and implementing behavioral support strategies to help students succeed academically and behaviorally.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' needs, including behavior and academic challenges.
- Create written reports based on evaluation results and share findings with school teams.
- Provide consultation to student intervention teams and assist in the development of effective interventions.
- Observe students in educational settings to assess academic and non-academic obstacles impacting learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and staff to ensure effective behavior management and academic progress.
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and assist in behavior interventions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Special Education, or similar).
- Valid Oregon teaching license, school counselor license, or BCBA certification.
- Background and criminal history clearance.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred, but not required.
