At Sunbelt Staffing, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavioral Specialist to join our school-based team in Aurora, Colorado. This full-time role focuses on providing behavioral support and developing individualized behavior intervention plans to help students achieve their full potential.
Job Description:The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs). The ideal candidate will provide direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and staff. Additionally, they will train and support staff in implementing behavioral strategies and interventions, while monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of these interventions and making necessary adjustments.
To be successful in this position, applicants must possess a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, as well as a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field. Experience working in school settings is preferred but not required.
