At Soliant, we are dedicated to improving the lives of students by providing exceptional support and services in educational settings. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled part-time Occupational Therapist to join our team in Centereach, NY, for the 2024-2025 school year.

Position Overview:
As a School Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with students, teachers, and families to enhance the functional skills of students with various needs. This part-time position requires mitment for 2-3 days a week and offers a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to promote student success.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in a school setting.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Educate staff and parents on strategies to support students' needs.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid New York State OT license.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their development.
