Position Overview:
As a Part-Time School SLP, you will work closely with students to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech and language disorders. This role will involve collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create tailored therapy plans that support each student's individual needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to determine students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students' academic and social success.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions.
  • Communicate progress and concerns with parents and educational staff.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid NY State SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP preferred).
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with children and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule:
Part-time position, requiring availability for 2-3 days per week during the school year.

Compensation:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
