Bilingual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
Job Type:Full-time Contract Position
Assignment Dates: December 2, 2024 - April 1, 2025
Caseload: K-12 students, mostly evaluations

We are currently working with a great school district in New Brunswick that is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the spring semester.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active New JerseySLPlicensure.
- Applicants must be Bilingual in Spanish & English
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with munication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Monitor and document students progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
- Educate and support parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's munication development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
