Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 24/25 school year. This is a full-time position, but we will consider part-time providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs, ensuring effective support for their overall development.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans and goals based on students' abilities and requirements, promoting optimal progress and success.
  • Deliver high-quality direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordinated support for students' overall growth.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress, facilitating informed decision-making and evaluation.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute meaningfully to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), driving student-centered approaches to education.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license to practice as an SLP in the state of Louisiana.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
