Production Worker

Candidates will be working in the Main Plant where all the finished foundations are made. Candidates must be mechanically inclined and able to use basic hand tools and read a tape measure. Candidates will be moving materials and preparing wood products for manufacturing, building/assembling door frames, and maneuvering materials weighing up to 50-75 lbs. Candidates will be shown how to perform different duties throughout the shop and can work their way into different departments. They will be using basic hand tools, saws, basic prints, etc.

- Maneuver materials weighing up to 50-75 lbs.
- Use basic hand tools, saws, and basic prints.
- Perform different duties throughout the shop and work into different departments.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Experience in production, construction, manufacturing, or a similar labor-type experience.
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
- Ability to read a tape measure including 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, and inches.
- No specific certifications or education required.

Work EnvironmentThe job is set in a large manufacturing facility equipped with various machines and wood. All candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots, safety glasses, earplugs, and provide their own 25 ft tape measure and framing hammer. Safety glasses and ear protection are supplied. Candidates must be comfortable working in varying temperatures, with hot conditions in the summer and cold in the winter, and may be asked to take some products outside.
