Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy, completeness, and formatting of company documents. The focus will be on maintaining documentation within the medical device industry, ensuring they comply with ISO-related regulations and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the receipt, tracking, and monitoring of documents using accounting software systems and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Maintain and improve document control procedures to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Review and update technical documents (e.g., manuals and workflows).
  • Distribute project-related copies to internal teams.
  • File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage.
  • Review and verify project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with standard procedures.
  • Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients.
  • Manage the flow of documentation within the organization.
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed.
  • Document Control 3-5 years' experience
  • Skills in Auditing
  • Well versed in Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • ISO-related regulations
  • Skilled in reading and following SOP's
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
