Position: Interim Director of Pharmacy
Job Type: Interim/Contract
Duration: 3 - 6 months (varies by assignment)

Typical Assignments:

Assignments can range from 3-6 months, with responsibilities and scope varying from one project to the next. You will play a key leadership role in delivering strategic solutions for hospitals, health systems, and pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide oversight of pharmacy departments, ensuring high standards of practice and regulatory pliance.
  • Prepare for audits and surveys, helping pharmacies meet and exceed regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and improve pharmacy workflow, enhancing efficiency and patient care.
  • Optimize 340B programs to ensure pliance and maximize cost savings.
  • Oversee the implementation of pharmacy software and hardware systems.
  • Conduct workforce analysis and remend optimization strategies for staffing, training, and operations.
  • Mentor and develop future pharmacy leaders, fostering a culture of growth and education within the organization.
  • Attend mittee meetings to provide expert guidance on pharmacy-related matters.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Pharmacy Director or similar leadership role in a healthcare setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulatory requirements, and pliance standards (e.g., 340B, audits).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and munication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse healthcare settings, from rural to urban hospitals.
  • A track record of mentoring and developing pharmacy teams and leaders.
  • Board certification in Pharmacy (e.g., BCPS, BCPPS) and state licensure preferred.
