Adecco Staffing is assisting a well-known Medical Device Manufacturing facility in Chelmsford MA with their needs for Front Desk Administrator On-Site Quick conversion from Temp to Perm for the right candidate

Hours: 8am – 4:30pm - Monday – Friday (flexible to sometimes cover until 5pm)

Pay: 25/hr

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position provides general office and HR administrative support to staff and visitors of the Chelmsford, MA facility. Sitting at the front-desk, the administrative assistant will be responsible for managing reception, office purchasing and greeting/directing visitors and employees. This role will also be responsible for basic HR administrative duties while also providing support to other site functions as applicable.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and coordinate reception activities including answering/routing incoming calls, sort/distribute mail, greeting/checking-in visitors, sending out plant-wide communications, distribute mail, and security badge for visitors.

check coffee machines, water cooler, vending machines, drinks and cafeteria consumables, make service calls if needed.

Control the common areas: locker room, restrooms, gown rooms, patio and report any deviation.

Provide aid for administrative task like shredding, making copies, scans, fax.

Supporting site HR with coordination of recruitment and selection activities of temporary employees including coordinating with temp agencies on scheduling new hire start dates, interviews when applicable, and temporary employee communications.

Prepare new hire orientation packets for weekly new hire orientation.

Maintain phone listing, visitor NDA log, and visitor training log.

Manage and coordinate training activities such as; preparing training folders, scanning and preparing training reports, engagement activities, organize lunches and set-up conference rooms upon request.

Provide support during SLT visits, audits and other on-site visitors. Activities include booking conference rooms, ordering lunch, and purchasing meeting supplies.

Local travel as needed (post-office, office supplies, food pick up, etc.)

Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

HS Diploma or GED required.

Prior office experience required.

Prior HR experience preferred.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.

Efficient time management and organizational skills.

Detail oriented.

Excellent interpersonal skills & positive, can-do attitude.

Ability to prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation preferred.

Pay Details: 24.00 to 25.00 per hour
