The company is currently seeking a Principal for our Multifamily Studio. As Principal of our Multifamily architectural team, you'll lead a dedicated group of seven professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to deliver high-quality designs for multifamily projects. In this role, you'll oversee project management, ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, and maintain high standards across all phases of design and construction. Your leadership will inspire team growth, drive strategic project solutions, and enhance client relationships.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

10+ years' experience in all types of multi-family developments from LIHTC to Market Rate Projects.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION:

  • Licensed Architect preferred

  • Bachelor's and Masters preferred

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Ensure compliance with local codes, municipal and regulation requirements in cities across Texas.

  • Manage the development of architectural and construction drawings, for all phases of Design (SD, DD, CD, and CA) utilizing Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Working knowledge of building materials and assemblies, weatherproofing, detailing, site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, and acoustical engineering.

  • Guide, mentor and manage team members to maximize their strengths, foster professional growth, and ensure project excellence.

  • Collaborate with the company's leadership team to shape strategic direction, drive organizational goals, and contribute insights that strengthen our firm's multifamily practice.
