Job Description

2nd shift, 4:00 pm - 3:00 am with a 10% shift premium. The schedule is typically Monday to Friday, sometimes Monday to Thursday. No weekends required. Expect 45-55 hours per week. This person will be responsible for welding and fabricating steel staircases, railings, and other structural components for buildings. Tasks include grinding and performing repair welds on finished handrails, utilizing a hand grinder and polisher, as well as welding equipment. Additional responsibilities include moving and loading products after shipments are completed. The materials handled will primarily be steel and stainless steel, with occasional work on aluminum.

Work Environment

This is a very fast-paced work environment where everyone is expected to stay on task to accomplish shipments. The team is tight-knit, works hard, and holds each other accountable. They expect the best from their employees and provide support as long as tasks are being completed. This person will support the miscellaneous steel department.
