Middle School Special Education Teacher

Job Description

  • Full time
  • M-F
  • 7.25 hours per day
  • ASAP start - May 30, 2025
  • Middle school caseload
  • 6 students in classroom
  • 1 school site
  • Duties: will be supporting students who access the general curriculum, but who have emotional/behavioral issues that are impacting their participation.
    • The teacher's schedule will remain flexible in order to meet the needs of the students
  • Pay: $40-45/hour - dependent on experience
  • Interviewing ASAP
  • In-person postion only

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or higher
  • VA Teaching License or eligible
  • Certified to work with Middle or High school gradelevels in the state of Virginia
  • Able to develop and implement IEPs while coordinating with internal departments
  • Comfortable collaborating with other teachers and staff to achieve student success
  • Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
