Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Learn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment
  • Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures
  • Effectively execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center
  • Read and follow order specification documents
  • Consistently work to develop or enhance skill set
  • Effectively work with co-workers and establish a team approach to achieve company goals and expectations
  • Follow all company rules and policies
  • Successfully work in multiple areas of the converting plant and be able to perform to expectations
Essential Skills
  • Must read and write English
  • Mechanically inclined and able to learn new skills within a standard timeline
  • Comfortable around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment
  • Mentally and physically perform at a high pace with a sense of urgency while maintaining company expectations of Safety, Quality, and Productivity
  • Basic Math Knowledge and ability to read a tape measure
  • Possess a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work overtime

Work Environment

Our facility is very large and can get hot in summer and cold in winter. The day shift is Monday to Thursday with occasional mandatory shifts on Fridays (60% of the year) but still get 2 days off. Mandatory overtime can be 8 hours on Friday or over the weekend. You will be exposed to various machines such as Flexograph, Flexo folder, Gluer, and more. We promote a team environment and have a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30
