Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Social Worker for an onsite position.This full-time role will serve students in need of mental health support and counseling services, helping them navigate social, emotional, and academic challenges. The position is set to run from ASAP until June 13, 2025, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with personal, social, or emotional challenges.
  • Develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and outside agencies to support students' well-being.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and interventions.
  • Assist in crisis intervention as needed.
  • Promote a positive school environment by supporting students' social-emotional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Social Work (Masters degree preferred).
  • Current Social Worker License (LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent) required.
  • DOE Certification for school social workers (or willingness to obtain if not already certified).
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
