Position: Onsite School Psychologist (Hybrid)

Pay:Varies depending upon experience, credentials, etc., discussion on this will happen with initial phone screening with recruiter
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM 2:30 PM (35 hours per week, hours may vary)
Caseload: Middle and High School Students

Job Description: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is hybrid, offering the flexibility to balance both in-person and virtual services. As a School Psychologist, you will be supporting middle and high school students by providing comprehensive psychological services, conducting assessments, and offering counseling and consultation to students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments for middle and high school students.
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create effective intervention plans.
• Assist in developing and monitoring Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Participate in school meetings and provide consultation on student mental health needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records.
• Support students in managing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

Requirements:

• Current CT DOE School Psychologist Certification (Required)
• Previous experience working with middle and high school students (Preferred)
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, IEPs, and interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must pass a background check
