Under the supervision of the Lead Patient Care Assistant (PCA), the PCA will observe and monitor client behavior and emotional status of those who seek refuge at Maryhaven's Engagement Center, Homeless Services. The PCA will assist clinical staff with documentation of charts, phone contracts, and other means in which to better aid the client; implements programmatic activities or events. The PCA will schedule meetings and provide safe transportation for clients. This position is included in a bargaining unit represented by SEIU.
Patient Care Assistant Requirements
  • Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired though the completion of High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
  • Two part-time positions to choose from:
    • 3rd shift: 10 pm - 8:30 am Saturday & Sunday
    • 2nd shift: 3 pm - 11:30 pm Saturday, Sunday, Monday 2nd shift
