Senior Accountant
Salary: $45-$50/hr.
Key Qualifications: Extensive experience in monthly financial closing, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
Role Objective: Act as a pivotal support element ensuring stringent controls and delivering critical data for managerial decision-making.
Essential Duties:
- Manage accounts receivable: oversee invoice processing, monitor cash receipts, and conduct follow-ups on overdue accounts.
- Oversee monthly account closures and reconciliations.
- Administer billing schedules for extensive equipment projects, including billing for installation and freight services.
- Compile data to aid the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with order backlog and cash flow projections.
- Contribute to the creation of annual financial reports and tax documentation.
- Embrace and drive continuous improvement, initiating and integrating new procedures where necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or comparable professional experience.
- Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively with all organizational tiers, as well as with external partners and clients.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Crystal Reports; familiarity with Dynamics 365 and Power BI is advantageous.
- Specialized Knowledge: A solid understanding of cost accounting principles is preferred.
