Are you detail-oriented with a passion for numbers? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is key? Our growing company in Woodland is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team and ensure our vendors are paid accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Payment Management: Prepare and execute payments via checks, ACH, or wire transfers, and reconcile payment discrepancies.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues, discrepancies, and inquiries.
- Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Reporting: Assist in month-end closing by preparing accounts payable reports and reconciling accounts.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to manage and process a high volume of transactions with accuracy.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Communication: Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
